Melvina Lance Bigelow passed away on Sunday, March 1st from heart failure.

She was born June 4, 1923 in Duchesne, a daughter of Myron Eliphus and Caroline Mayhew Lance, the youngest of 14 children. She lived most of her life in Green River and Taylorsville, Utah. She married Clifford E. Bigelow on April 13, 1940. Later sealed in the Manti Temple. They had six children.Even though in the end it was her heart that failed her, it was her huge heart of gold that will be missed the most. She could always find the silver lining and was always there to help no matter what. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by a twin son and daughter, Gene and Jeanie; brothers, Artie, Bill, Homer, Rex, Gale, Ray, Arzy, Carl and Darl; sisters, Ilda, Ila and Dortha. Survived by her husband; three sons, Robert (Mitzi), Ronnie (Charlene) and Johnny (Kathy); one daughter, Judy (Coy) Jensen; one sister, Martha Sievers; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5th, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville Park wardhouse, 4845 S. Woodhaven Dr. (1365 W.). Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, or on Thursday at the wardhouse one hour prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
