A woman who contends the Army's former top enlisted man made improper sexual advances often complained about having difficulties with men, defense witnesses said.
Sgt. Maj. Gene McKinney's sexual misconduct court-martial was to continue Tuesday before a jury of four officers and four enlisted men who already have listened to a month of testimony. As part of McKinney's defense, his lawyers put several former colleagues of Maj. Michelle Gunzelman on the witness stand Monday. Gunzelman, the only officer among McKinney's six accusers, testified earlier that McKinney propositioned her twice while they were stationed in Germany.
The former co-workers testified that Gunzelman made a habit of discussing her personal life and particularly problems with men.
