The two hottest issues the City Council has wrestled with in the past several years - a master transportation plan and a master trails plan - could both finally be adopted at a Wednesday, March 4, 7 p.m. meeting at City Hall, 130 N. Main.

A public hearing on the master trails plan will be held at 7:30 p.m., followed by possible adoption by the council. The transportation plan is simply slated for council discussion and possible approval. The State Street overpass and Lagoon I-15 access issues have been among the most controversial parts of the master transportation plan. On the trails plan, the Davis Creek area has been one of the key parts of past discussions.

The March 4 meeting will also include a Shepard Heights development update and a lease agreement with Davis County on trails.
