A pizza delivery man was kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint by two teens Friday night.
Andrew Goldsmith, 28, said he was on his way to make a pizza delivery when he stopped at a stop sign near 3000 S. Wasatch Blvd. Two youths about 16 or 17 years old were sitting on the south side of the road and began to walk toward him.As the teens approached, Goldsmith rolled down his window to see what they wanted, he said. One teen pulled out a gun and demanded his money.
Goldsmith gave them all of the money he was carrying for change, which was less than $20, but the teens were not satisfied. They then got in the car and told Goldsmith to drive them to Tuscany restaurant, 2832 E. 6200 South.
"I felt like I was being watched over," Goldsmith said. "They looked more scared than I was."
After dropping them off, Goldsmith drove back to Domino's Pizza, 3131 E. 3300 South, and called police.
Officers are looking for two males between 16 and 17 years old, said Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Southam.
