Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on the porch of a downtown building Saturday.
Paramedics responding to another call found the body about 2 p.m., said Salt Lake Police Lt. Arthur Healey. The man was taken to LDS Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.The man wasn't breathing when the paramedics found him at the vacant building, 336 S. 400 West. Police were withholding the man's name Saturday night while they attempted to contact next of kin.
The State Medical Examiners will try to determine what caused the death, Healey said. The body didn't have any bruises or marks indicating a struggle.
