A new occupant has been found for the six-story downtown building that currently serves as Thiokol Corp.'s corporate headquarters.

Ogden officials had worried the Washington Boulevard building would sit empty after Thiokol announced in late 1995 it was planning to move its headquarters to Salt Lake City.MarketStar Corp. has agreed to a 10-year lease of the Thiokol Building and will make it the outsource marketing services company's international headquarters.

Also known as MStar, the company has been subleasing the building's third floor since August and using part of the second floor. MStar anticipates using the entire building, with more than 500 employees expected there by the year 2000.
