Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Esther F. Cook, returned home peacfully to her Heavenly Father, February 26, 1998 to be with her eternal companion and her family.

She was born September 10, 1912 to Albion David and Lillie May Knight Francis in Devil's Slide, Utah. She married Edward Lewis Cook, April 3, 1944 in Butte, Montana; later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, October 11, 1996.Esther was very active in the LDS Church, holding many positions, including Relief Society President and in the Primary. She served three missions with her husband, to Montana, Hawaii and the 9th Ward. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darline and Willem Warnas; three granddaughters, Debra Ann Sorensen, Becky (Bill) Hill, Chrissie (John) Hillam; and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 1998, 1 p.m., at the Mountain View 2nd Ward, 1400 So. 1900 E. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So., and on Tuesday at the ward from 11:45 a.m. 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
