The Brigham Young University College of Nursing's 23rd Annual Research Conference, "Nursing in Global Communities," will convene Monday, March 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Center at BYU.
The conference will begin at 8 a.m. in the Conference Center auditorium with keynote speaker Philip A. Greiner, director of the Health Promotion Center at Fairfax University, Fairfax, Conn. He will speak on "Nursing and Epidemiology: Methods and Knowledge for Clinical Decision Making." Greiner specializes in epidemiology, aging and community health nursing.One of the sessions will focus on epidemiological research techniques taught by Greiner. Other sessions will feature BYU undergraduate and master's degree students presenting research and issue papers.
