Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, James Thomas Jones, 69, passed away Feb. 19, 1998, in Salt Lake City.

Tom was born July 6, 1928, in Beaver Utah, the son of James Jones and Sophia Grace Muir. He married Ellen Miller on September 17, 1954, in Parowan, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple.Tom served his country during the Korean War. He was an active member of the LDS Church and a graduate of the University Of Utah. Tom was a kind and loving individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him. His passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.

Survivors include: his wife, Ellen, of Salt Lake City; two daughters, Julie (Kevin) Clark, Magna, Utah; Grace (William) Howitz, Salt Lake City, Utah; six grandchildren, Jessica Marie, Valerie, Maryann, James Elden, Thomas Kevin, Matthew Thomas; one brother, John Walter (Selma) Jones, Beaver, Utah. Preceded in death by one sister, Helen Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 1998, at 1 pm, at the South Cottonwood 4th Ward, 980 Revere Circle (5555 South), where friends may call Monday, from 11:30 am to 1 p.m. one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1765 East 3300 South. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
