Robert Christen Heath, 76, former Salt Lake City resident, died February 14, 1998 in Richfield, Utah.
He was born February 8, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of William Riley Heath and Alice Axelsen. He married Margaret Lyman on January 28, 1944, in Salt Lake City. He was Veteran of World War II. He was active in VFW having served twice as commander of the VFW Atomic Post. He Loved Gardening and grew beautiful roses. He enjoyed acting and played many rolls in theater productions.He is survived by his wife, of Salina; two daughters: Katherine Dierenger, of Salt Lake; Mrs. Susan Tuft and husband, Allen, of Salina; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Helen Bland, of Oregon; Harriett Webb, of Bountiful; Don, of California; Richard, of Illinois; Ted, of Oregon. Preceded in death by grandson Billy and sister Lawana.
Graveside service will be Wednesday February 18, at 1 p.m. in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may call at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina Wednesday Morning 10:30 to 11:30 prior to services. Burial in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Salina and Richfield.
