Monsignor Piero Marini, papal master of ceremonies, has been a constant presence with the pope at Masses in St. Peter's Basilica and in cathedrals and public squares worldwide.Earlier this month, John Paul conferred the same honor on Monsignor Stanislaw Dziwisz, a Pole who has served as his private secretary for 32 years.
