Search-and-rescue workers search the Jordan River for the body of a 4-year-old Midvale boy who fell into the river Friday morning. The boy, Josue Peralez, and his mother, Leticia, and brother, Caesar, had been feeding the ducks on the riverbank near Winchester Park, 6400 South and 1050 West, when Leticia walked away from her sons and up the bank toward a public restroom and covered picnic area at the park. When she returned a few moments later, Caesar said his brother had fallen into the water. The search was called off at nightfall after seven hours and will resume this morning. See story on B1.
