A top businessman in Britain today has two cars, takes three foreign vacations a year, owns at least $9,300 worth of stocks and earns more than $72,000 annually, a survey published on Thursday said.

About 50,000 households were interviewed for the 1988 Businessman Survey, the ninth published since 1973.It found the lot of women executives had improved, though they still represented only 8 percent of the total and their pay lagged behind men's.
