A man charged in the shooting death of a pregnant woman during the April 22 robbery of a Kearns video store was also charged Friday in connection with two robberies of local fast-food restaurants.

Charles K. Hodges, 44, was charged in 3rd District Court in connection with the armed robbery of a Taco John's and a Sconecutter restaurant, addresses unavailable, on April 12 and April 18 respectively.In both incidents, a firearm was involved, court records said. Bail was set at $50,000 on those charges.

Hodges is also charged with capital homicide and aggravated robbery in the death of Anna Holmes, who was shot in the head during a robbery at Video Voyager, 5448 S. 4220 West. Bail on those charges was set earlier at $1 million.
