Fotheringham & Associates, a Salt Lake advertising company, has received one of 14 Obie awards from the Institute of Outdoor Advertising for the best billboard in the United States in the category of automotive and accessories dealers.
The agency's entry of "Rhonda's Fonda Garff Honda" was selected from more than 700 entries, according to Don Beyer, IOA president. Last year, Fotheringham won an Obie for a series of three billboards on Hogle Zoo."It is an incredible achievement that the only agency to win this award in 1987 and 1988 is a small shop in Salt Lake City. By winning this award, Fotheringham & Associates has joined the ranks of some of the largest, most creative ad agencies in the nation," Beyer said.
Both entries will be featured in the 1988 "Best of Outdoor" book, which is being distributed to advertisers, advertising agencies and outdoor companies throughout the world.
