Steven Carl Marquardt, of Draper, Utah, passed away June 30, 1996, at his home.

Born February 27, 1978, to Steven W. and Carla M. Mardquardt, in Murray, Utah. Graduated '96 Hillcrest High School, and on the honor roll. Stevie was employed as a plumber's apprentice in Provo, Utah. He participated on the Hillcrest Jr. Varsity and Varsity Wrestling teams and also in the VICA program, excelling in his plumbing vocational skills. Stevie lived his brief 18 years in Utah, Mesa, Arizona, and Birmingham, Alabama. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood.Survived by his parents; grandparents, George and Bernece Marquardt of Murray; and N. Carl and Vivian Murdock of Alpine; brothers and sisters, Stephanie (Captain Garrett) Messner; and niece, Morgan of Hanua, Germany; Peter (Teresa) Marquardt of Sugarhouse; Heather (Peter and children, Nicholas, Kyrie and Taneal) Oliver of Riverdale; and Sean Marquardt of Draper. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Murdock, and Stevie's little brother, Benjamin Enoch Marquardt.

Stevie will be missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 1996, at 12 noon, at the Draper Eastridge 5th Ward Chapel, 11777 So. Willow Wood Dr. (880 East) with viewing, 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Welfare Fund of the LDS Church.
