Two players who draw little attention from opposing defenders combined for the game-winning goal that propelled the Calgary Flames into the Stanley Cup Finals.

Left wing Brian MacLellan redirected a wrist shot by defenseman Ric Nattress through the legs of Chicago goalie Alain Chevrier from 15 feet out 5:19 into the third period Wednesday night, snapping a 1-1 tie and helping Calgary to a 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks. The triumph enabled the Flames to win their third straight game over Chicago and capture the best-of-seven Campbell Conference Championship series in five games. The Flames will be making their second trip to the finals in four years.

Calgary, with the best record in the league during the regular season, will play either the Montreal Canadiens or Philadelphia Flyers in the Stanley Cup Final. Montreal leads that series 3-2 with Game 6 Thursday night in Philadelphia.
