The State Office of Education is accepting proposals for adult education programs as a basis for distributing federal funds.
Qualifying proposals submitted by private or public organizations will be judged on the objectives of the State Board of Education's approved adult basic and adult high school programs of study. They are to focus on high school completion or work preparation.Limited funds are available, said Dr. Brent H. Gubler, adult education special in the state office.
Applications and procedural information are available by contacting Gubler at the state office, 250 E. Fifth South. Deadline for proposals is June 8.
