More than 40 percent of the people who requested information about Park City came to the area last winter, according to a study completed by Gillham Public Relations.

This is the second year the agency has conducted a survey for its client, the Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau, said agency president Lon Richardson Jr.Those responding to the survey listed snow conditions, the variety of ski areas and the close proximity of the Salt Lake International Airport to the ski areas as some of Park City's assets.

Nearly 30 percent went to Park City on a friend's recommendation and 92 percent said they would consider Park City for a ski vacation next year, Richardson said.
