A pamphlet about AIDS, to be delivered to all American households in late May and early June, is expected to bring a flood of calls on a new Utah AIDS hotline and bulge waiting lists for AIDS virus tests.

Craig Nichols of the Utah Department of Health said the eight-page federal pamphlet, "Understanding AIDS," will be delivered to all Utah addresses between May 26 and June 15. "We expect it will generate a lot of interest."The toll-free state hotline (1-800-537-1046), funded through a Centers for Disease Control grant and scheduled to be in service May 23, will use taped messages and an operator to answer AIDS-related questions.
