A Utah State University physics professor has helped organize a NATO-sponsored advanced physics workshop scheduled this summer in Corsica, France.
"The workshop will cover topics in modern quantum field theory, which provides the theoretical basis for elementary particle physics," Arnold Rosenblum said."It will also include such topics as chaos and its application to lasers," said Rosenblum.
Working with Rosenblum on the conference are Paul Damgaard of the Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark and Helmut Huffel of the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Vienna. Scientists from all the NATO alliance countries will attend.
