The Inn, a daytime shelter and job search center for the homeless, plans a moving/bake sale May 6 to raise money for its relocation.

When the Jazz decided to build a new arena, The Inn, 346 W. First South, learned it would have to move. So beginning at 10 a.m. staff and friends will be selling baked goods and a number of appliances, decorator items from Guatemala as well as other "wonderful and beautiful junk," according to Judy Hoopes, administrator. In the meantime, The Inn is still looking for a new home. It moved into its current location last winter, just before a decision was made to locate the Jazz arena there.
