President Bush will visit Poland and Hungary and perhaps other countries during a European trip in July highlighted by the economic summit in Paris, White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said Friday.

Fitzwater told reporters Bush would visit Poland and Hungry shortly before the July 14-16 Paris summit begins.Fitzwater said said other countries may be added to the president's itinerary to take place after the summit. There have been reports Bush may visit Yugoslavia.

Fitzwater said the exact dates of the president's official visits to Warsaw and Budapest have not yet been set. He was invited by Polish leader Gen. Wojciech Jaruzelski and Hungarian President Bruno Straub.

It would be Bush's second trip to both nations.

Bush also has been invited to participate in the July 14 celebration of Bastille Day, marking the bicentennial of the French Revolution, while he is in Paris for the economic summit.
