A number of educational programs are available to the public through the Utah State University Extension Service in Sevier County. They may be used by groups, individuals or families, said Margaret Smith, home economist.

She said the programs emphasize improvement in nutrition, diet and health, and family economics. Some programs may be developed on request.Smith said participants should allow two weeks for preparation and a month for special requests. Alternate dates should also be scheduled.

A wide variety of free and low-cost educational pamphlets are available related to home economics and agricultural topics. Films, slide programs and film strips will be loaned.

Smith said a new newsletter program will give valuable information for preschool and day-care providers and mothers of preschool children.

Additional information may be obtained by calling the Extension Service office at 896-9262, Ext. 15, or 896-4609.
