A member of the Granite Girl Scout Troop 266 in Salt Lake City has been named as the top cookie seller in Utah. In a recent awards ceremony, Lisa K. Anderson, 13, was recognized by the Utah Girl Scout Council for selling 3,408 boxes of cookies.

Anderson, who has won the top honor for two consecutive years, sold 3,600 boxes of cookies last year.Utah Girl Scouts sold more than 800,000 boxes of cookies in this year's drive, which ran from Feb. 19 to March 1. The fund-raiser netted just under $1 million and proceeds will go to area troops and to the state council to support camps and other programs, according to a Girl Scout official.
