Left wing Paul Ranheim, whose 68 goals during the regular season set a Golden Eagle franchise record, was named both the International Hockey League's rookie of the year and American-born rookie of the year.

He takes home the Garry F. Longman Trophy for outstanding rookie and the Ken McKenzie Trophy for American-born rookie. It's the first time an Eagle has won either award.The remainder of the IHL awards will be announced at intervals throughout the playoff season.
