The FBI is turning its attention away from Utah as agents pursue lukewarm leads in the search for an armored car driver sought in a $2.5 million robbery, a spokesman says.

Meanwhile, authorities are speculating that Jared Layne Gray had an accomplice agent Cal Clegg said.

Gray, 26, of Murray is being sought on a federal warrant issued after a Wells Fargo truck en route from Boise, Idaho, to the Federal Reserve Bank in Salt Lake City was robbed of $2.5 million in cash last Thursday.

"We're giving it the all-court press," Clegg said. "The more time that passes, the more we feel that he is outside of the state, but that is a presumption on our part.

Clegg said the serial numbers of the stolen bills were not recorded, so the money could be spent fairly easily.
