Sharon Rogers, wife of the skipper of the USS Vincennes, has reached a $140,000 settlement with an exclusive private school that fired her from a teaching post after she was the victim of what may have been a terrorist bombing.

The agreement was formally approved by the La Jolla Country Day School board Friday, said school spokesman Richard Roth. It was announced to the parents of the 700 students in a letter sent out Friday by the board.Roth said the school agreed to pay Rogers $135,000 plus $5,000 in attorneys fees.
