Bryce Canyon National Park officials are seeking eight youths to work in the summer Youth Conservation Corps program.

Applications may be obtained from the principals of schools in Panguitch, Tropic and Escalante or by telephoning park headquarters at (801) 834-5322.The deadline for submitting applications is May 6. Enrollees must be 15 years old by June 1 and no older than 18 by August 30. Those who have been in the program previously are not eligible.

Youths will work from June 5 through July 31 and must have a desire to work outdoors. They must also obtain medical certification indicating their physical and mental fitness and must have parent or guardian consent.
