The Davis County Health Department is conducting a number of screening and education activities in May to increase public awareness of the role of blood pressure and cholesterol in coronary risk reduction.
A community screening to check blood pressure and cholesterol, along with offering educational material, will be held May 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Layton Hills Mall. The fee is $5.The department is also offering two walk-in clinics during the second week of May at its clinic in the basement of the county courthouse in Farmington. The clinics are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10 and 1-6 p.m. May 11.
