The Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce has honored Rep. Craig Call, R-Provo, for his years of service to the community, including his efforts over 10 years toward renovation of Provo Town Square.
Call announced recently that he and his family will soon move to Idaho to pursue business opportunities there."We feel very strongly that Craig deserved some kind of recognition for his efforts in behalf of the community," Steve Densley, chamber president, said during an all-member meeting. "His legislative duties; his 13 years with the chamber, including service on the board of directors; and his complete dedication to the preservation of downtown Provo have put us all in his debt."
Call, a legislator for four years, has been chairman of the House Tax and Revenue Committee and is a member of the governor's blue-ribbon task force examining tax problems in Utah.
In addition to his community service, Call, who received a law degree from Brigham Young University, has been a real estate agent for the past two years.
