One of Elvis Presley's pre-Graceland homes is about to give way to an auto parts store. The modest Memphis, Tenn., house where Presley lived from mid-1955 to May 1956 - the period when RCA bought his contract from Sun Records and his career took off - is owned by David Isom, who bought it in 1985 for $45,000. Isom's ad for the house doesn't mention his asking price but he says the new buyer will have to move it.
