Frank Sinatra says he has had "a long love affair" with Paris and it's not an unrequited one. Paris Mayor Jacques Chirac presented Sinatra with the Paris Bimillennium Award, which is the city's highest distinction and takes its name from its 2,000-year history. Chirac praised Sinatra for "always finding the time, despite your artistic engagements, to dedicate your talents to humanitarian causes." Among the more than 400 guests at the ceremony were Sinatra's tour mates, Liza Minelli and Sammy Davis Jr., and Gregory Peck, who is in Paris this week for a gala benefit for cancer research.
