The Orchestra of Southern Utah will spotlight three young performers on its "Showcase for Youth" Tuesday evening in the Thorley Recital Hall of Southern Utah State College. The concert will then be repeated Saturday in the Kanab High School auditorium. Starting time for each is 8 p.m.

Featured will be SUSC junior Chelle Hansen-Leyva, originally from Kentucky, in Cecile Chaminade's Concertino for Flute and Orchestra; Pine View High School sophomore Douglas Stewart as soloist in Saint-Saens' A minor Cello Concerto; and pianist Brent Eldon Stapley, a SUSC graduate, in the Chopin Second Piano Concerto.Also on the program will be Beethoven's "Pastorale" Symphony and Morton Gould's "American Salute." Conducting will be Hal Campbell, James Harrison and Virginia Stitt.

Tickets will be available each night at the door, with students admitted free.
