Mark Aguirre and Isiah Thomas scored six points each during a 14-4 third-quarter spurt Friday, helping the Detroit Pistons to a 100-91 victory overthe Philadelphia 76ers and their club-record 20th straight home-court triumph.

The Pistons' fourth straight victory gave them a 36-4 home-court mark and raised the NBA's best record to 62-19. Both are also club records.Aguirre led the Pistons with 22 points. Thomas, Bill Laimbeer and James Edwards added 14 each as Detroit's reserves played most of the final period.

The Pistons took control in the third quarter when they outscored Philadelpha 31-21 to turn a 45-40 halftime lead into a 76-61 advantage entering the final period.
