Soprano Nancy Peery Marriott was featured soloist with the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus on Friday evening in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. With Robert C. Bowden conducting, Marriott sang arias by Mozart, Gounod and Strauss and show tunes from Broadway. A resident of Washington, D.C., Marriott is a frequent soloist in the area. Among her recent solo engagements was as a participant in "A Salute to American Composers," sponsored by the Federation of Music on Lincoln's birthday at the Kennedy Center.
