U.S. Magistrate Ronald N. Boyce has granted a motion that sealed information in the Shauna Clark-Ted Cannon sexual harassment lawsuit be made available for a Utah State Bar investigation.

Edward K. Brass, lawyer for Deputy Salt Lake County Attorney Howard R. Lemcke, asked that information be unsealed. In a brief appearance before Boyce Tuesday afternoon, Brass said material would be furnished to counsel for the Utah State Bar.Material to be turned over to Brass, and then to the bar counsel, will include depositions from Shauna Clark, Ted Cannon and County Attorney David Yocom.

The Bar has begun an informal and confidential investigation of whether a disciplinary rule was violated in the case, according to the motion before Boyce.

In March, Zane L. Gill, Clark's lawyer, alleged that county attorneys met with Clark in an attempt to settle her $1.2 million harassment suit without going through her lawyers.
