Trojan Corp. was rocked by its second accidental explosion in 10 weeks Friday morning. One employee was injured.

Junior Underwood, Salem, was taken to Mountain View Hospital to be treated for bruises and lacerations, and to be checked for other injuries. He was reported in stable condition, and hospital officials were not sure whether he would be admitted.A Trojan Corp. spokeswoman would not discuss details of the 9:20 a.m. accident, saying "We have no comment at this time."

A Utah County Sheriff's dispatcher described the explosion as "very minor."

The earlier explosion, on Feb. 15, woke residents 10 miles away. The blast obliterated a building and carved an 80-foot-wide, 3-foot-deep crater where it had stood. Seven workers were treated for injuries and were released later the same day. The men were returning from a break and were about to enter the building that exploded.

Trojan Corp. was also involved in an accident in April 1987 when a pipe the company produced exploded in an area salvage yard. One man was killed and a second was critically injured but survived.
