Ted L. Wilson, director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah and former Salt Lake mayor, has been reappointed to the volunteer board of trustees of Intermountain Health Care, according to William N. Jones, board chairman.

Wilson left the unpaid position in 1988 to run for governor. He has been institute director since 1985 and prior that that was mayor from 1975 to 1985."Intermountain Health Care is proud to have a committed, community-minded leader like Ted Wilson on our board. His keen sensitivity toward the people of Salt Lake and the entire Intermountain Region, and his many years of devoted public service add an important voice to our proceedings," said Jones.

The board oversees operation of the regional not-for-profit hospital and health-care system headquartered in Salt Lake City.
