Community leaders in more than 80 cities nationwide will gather at J.C. Penney Co. stores for a conference on teen substance abuse April 28 at 9 a.m.

The local presentation, organized by the United Way, will feature a video presentation on crack/cocaine, followed by a live panel discussion and a question-and-answer session with national experts.The program is the first of a series of broadcasts from Penney's corporate headquarters via an extensive closed-circuit network. An interactive system will allow participants to discuss their ideas with experts and other community leaders across the country during the broadcast.
