Long Beach Naval Station, reorganized, plus 461.

March Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 3,420.

Mather Air Force Base, closed, minus 3,000, $78.7 million.

McClellan Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 231.

Norton Air Force Base, closed, minus 6,653, $67.9 million.

Presidio of San Francisco, including Letterman Army Medical Center, closed, minus 5,290, $74.08 million.

Hawthorne Army Ammunition Plant, reorganized, plus 34.

NEW MEXICO:

Cannon Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 1,159.

Fort Wingate, closed, minus 92, $5.18 million.

Kirtland Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 484.

OREGON:

Umatilla Army Depot, reorganized, minus 164, $6.27 million.

WASHINGTON:

Everett Naval Station, reorganized, plus 676.

Fairchild Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 138.

McChord Air Force Base, reorganized, plus 755.

Sand Point Naval Station, reorganized, minus 676, $5.6 million.

In addition to changes at the affected facilities, a chart provided by the commission indicated the changes would add 914 personnel in San Francisco, 415 in Chicago, 224 in Salt Lake City, 145 at Ft. Lewis, Wash., and 12 at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
