Utah State signed another junior college player to a letter of intent Tuesday, bringing the total to five this spring. Troy White, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound inside player from Bacone Junior College in Muskogee, Okla., will play for Aggie Coach Kohn Smith next season.

White, a native of Hammond, La., averaged 12 points and nine rebounds per game at Bacone this past season, shooting 55 percent from the field for the Warriors, who finished the season 18-11."Troy is a big, wide-bodies, strong inside player," Smith said. "He will play a lot at the low post. He is a very good rebounder and an excellent defensive player. He decision to join us really solidifies the middle for us."

Last week USU signed Allen Gordon (6-0, Northwest C.C.), Matt Barnes (6-1, Salt Lake C.C.), Rich Jardine (6-8, Dixie College), Jeff Paris (6-8, Cerritos JC) and Jay Goodman (6-1, Iowa State).
