The next best thing to a tax break, this year's tax filing deadline break, ends at midnight Monday.

Because April 15 fell on a Saturday this year, tax officials extended the filing deadline through the weekend. Whether you qualify as a procrastinator or a spendthrift, the clock is ticking. Returns must be submitted by midnight in order to still get an April 17 postmark.In Salt Lake City, collection until midnight Monday will be available at the Main Post Office, 1760 W. 21st South; Holladay Branch, 2350 Arbor Lane; Downtown Station, 230 W. Second South; South Salt Lake Branch, 3161 S. West Temple; Sugarhouse Station, 2155 S. Highland Drive; Murray Branch, 4989 S. State; and West Valley City Branch, 3490 S. 44th West.

Other post offices will be open late are in Sandy, Bountiful, West Jordan, Ogden, Orem and at Provo's East Bay facility.
