A former respiratory therapy technician - originally charged with molesting three female patients at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center - was sentenced in 4th Circuit Court on Thursday to four days in jail and a $150 fine.
Kelly Hammon, 28, Springville, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of lewdness, a class B misdemeanor. He had been charged with forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony.Circuit Judge Joseph Dimick suspended the man's sentence from the maximum $300 fine and 90-day jail term. Hammon also will have psychiatric counseling if recommended by Adult Probation and Parole. He will be on probation for six months.
Hammon was charged in connection with incidents Feb. 5 while he was working at the medical center. He is no longer employed by the hospital.
