Three new assistant principals have been named for Davis School District secondary schools.

John A. Sadler, a doctoral student in curriculum and instruction at Utah State University and currently an assistant principal at North Davis Junior High, will take the assistant post at Davis High in Kaysville.Sadler has a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and holds a master's degree from the joint Utah State/Weber State College program along with an administrative endorsement from USU.

Robert Steele, a teacher and coach at Woods Cross High since 1977, will take the assistant principal post at Centerville Junior High. He has a bachelor's degree in physical education from WSC, masters's in education and public school administration from Brigham Young University and professional administrative certificate from USU.

Valeen Sullivan, a guidance counselor at Syracuse Junior High since 1986, will become that school's assistant principal. She previously served as a teacher and counselor at North Davis Junior High in Clearfield. Sullivan graduated magna cum laude from WSC and holds master's and doctoral degrees from the U.
