A dance, walk-a-thon, auction and spaghetti dinner will be part of "Kally Heslop Day" to help raise funds for the heart transplant patient.
Heslop's friends are sponsoring the series of events that include a dance at Davis High Friday at 8:30 p.m. Admission is a $2 donation.On Saturday, a breakfast will be served at $3.50 for adults and $2 for children under 10. Also during the morning children will walk around the track to raise funds. Walkers will be awarded prizes. The dinner and travel auction will be held at the high school cafeteria from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children.
In addition, a professional art auction will be held on May 5 at Kaysville City Hall to benefit Heslop. The art to be auctioned will be displayed at the Barnes Bank and Kaysville Library from April 25 to May 5.
Heslop underwent heart transplant surgery in February and must take anti-rejection medication for the rest of her life.
