Authorities arrested a Park City man and two others in Miami following an undercover drug bust in which six kilos of cocaine were confiscated.

The undercover operation was a combined effort by the Salt Lake Metro Narcotics Strike Force and FBI agents from Miami and Utah and culminated in the purchase of a large quantity of cocaine, said Lt. Ken Thirsk, Salt Lake Metro Narcotics Commander.According to Thirsk, the investigation began several months ago when a Metro Narcotics agent was contacted in Park City by someone who agreed to arrange the purchase of up to 10 kilos of cocaine in Miami. Six kilos of cocaine - with a street value of nearly $600,000 - were seized after the 11:15 a.m. transaction Friday.

Officers also seized additional drugs and evidence after a search of a Miami residence.

Arrested were: Glen Hodges, 26, Park City; Danny L. Kerr, 25, Anchorage, Alaska; and John Tegzes, 27, Miami.
