A state-required course for food supervisors will begin April 17 at Utah Valley Community College.
The 10-week, 25-hour course will be held from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. in room 109 of the Business Building on the Orem campus."People in the community who work in residential or retirement centers or cater to those people will eventually have to take this course," said Wes Bitters, chairman of the Hospitality Management Department.
The course, including book and materials, will cost $125 non-credit, $200 if the student wants college credit, Bitters said.
