Marcia Tucker, director of the New Museum in New York City, will give an an illustrated talk on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Smith auditorium of Wattis Business Building at Weber State College. The subject of this free WSC Centennial event will be "Out of bounds: radical artmaking at the end of the 20th century."

Educated in Connecticut, Paris and New York, Tucker was with Art-news magazine, at the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum, and taught at Columbia, the Rhode Island School of Design and New York City University before founding the New Museum in 1977. She has been the subject of articles in Vogue, Town and Country, Christian Science Monitor, Ms., Vanity Fair, New Yorker, New York Times and other publications.
