One performance of "Sugar Babies," the national touring company musical about the glory days of the vaudeville-burlesque era, has been canceled this weekend at Kingsbury Hall, but the Saturday evening performance is being presented as scheduled.

Gordon Crowe Productions, which is producing the show, has canceled the 3 p.m. Sunday matinee.Paula Craycroft of Kingsbury Hall told the Deseret News that the producers probably weren't aware that Salt Lake City isn't a big place for Sunday matinees.

Patrons holding tickets for this performance may either trade them for tickets for the Saturday evening show or return them to the box office for a refund.

Tickets for the remaining performance are available at Smith's-Tix outlets (call 467-5996) or the Kingsbury Hall box office on the University of Utah campus (581-7100).
